I am a resident in your district, and I am writing you today because I am concerned about the future of downtown and the future of City Hall.

I call on City Council to:
1. Put Dallas First — Not Dirty Deals With Developers: Public land and public money should serve Dallas first — its people, its workers and its future — not private real estate ambitions.

2. Drop The Bogus Billion-Dollar Claim: Before the city moves forward, Dallas deserves independent, peer-reviewed numbers about moving out and repairing City Hall that the public can trust.

3. Stop Wasting Tax Dollars — And Don’t Risk Our Financial Future: Dallas already owns City Hall. Walking away is not fiscal responsibility. It’s another shady city real-estate deal pushed by city staff that will cost Dallas for generations.

4. Truly Serve Nearby Neighborhoods: No one has fully shown how this plan would affect nearby neighborhoods. Residents are being asked to trust vague promises of growth without seeing the underlying analysis. Dallas deserves facts, not assumptions.

5. Treat City Hall As the Asset it Is — And Activate the Land Around It: Dallas should be talking seriously about how to improve City Hall, modernize it and turn it into a cornerstone of an energized downtown that connects to surrounding neighborhoods.
